# A technology company in Kaohsiung

TauX builds GEO — Generative Engine Optimization — and the AI systems around it. We work from Kaohsiung, close to the manufacturers and operators we build for, and we ship to a standard that holds up anywhere. 

The name comes from the Greek letter **τ** — Tau, the **time constant** in control theory and physics: how long a system takes to respond to a change and settle into its new state. What TauX works on is a company's time constant for AI. Not whether it adapts, but how long it takes.
